Meet The Team

Edel Muñoz

(classical, acoustic and electric guitar, bass, ukelele).

He was only 13 years old when Maestro Leo Brouwer described him as “perfect” and a “professional” in every sense of the word.

As a concert artist, Edel has performed in major theaters and recital halls throughout the world including Palau de la Musica Catalana in Barcelona, Teatro Municipal de Viña del Mar in Chile, Liege Guitar Festival in (Belgium), Guitars of the World Festival (Argentina), Arzamas Festival (Russia), August’s Festival (Venezuela), International Guitar Festival of Barcelona, Toronto Guitar Society – Symposium (Canada), Guild of American Luthiers Convention / Exhibition, Tacoma, (Washington) Portland Guitar Society, Austin Guitar Society, Madison Guitar Society, His Carnegie Hall debut brought the house down with a standing ovation.

Mr. Muñoz holds a Master's Degree in Music Performance and a Bachelor's Degree with honors (Summa Cum Laude) in Classical Guitar Performance from the Music Conservatory of Puerto Rico.

Edel Muñoz began his guitar studies at the “Vocational School of Art” in his native town of Matanzas and graduated from the “National School of Music” in Havana, Cuba in 1994. Has studied with Arsenio Diaz, Maria Victoria Oliver, Martha Cuervo, Victor Pellegrini, Jesús Cantero, Alberto Rodriguez, Isaac Nicola and Leo Brouwer. After leaving Cuba, he continued his studies with Eduardo Isaac in Argentina, Luis Orlandini at the University of Santiago de Chile, and Alex Garrobe in Barcelona, Spain.

He is constantly invited not only to perform at recitals but also to share his expertise by giving master classes at major music festivals, courses, seminars and workshops in prestigious universities around the world.

His experience as a guitar teacher is the more of 20 years, Teaching in Cuba, Spain, Argentina, Puerto Rico, Chile, Canada, and in Middle, high schools and college in United States. His students have won guitar competitions. As a guitar teacher uses imagination and spirit to transmit to the students his knowledge and experience.

Isabel Diaz
(guitar, piano, voice, choir, little music).

Isabel Diaz Bello, BA, BSN, RN. Graduated as the top of her class with the Gold Title and Summa Cum Laude.

Isabel attended Master Classes with Manuel Barrueco, Aniello Desiderio, Alvaro Pierri, Marco Tamayo, Joaquin Clerch, Hopkinson Smith, Jorge Luis Zamora y Georg Schmitz.

Her first steps in the music where in Cuba from the hands of Sandra del Castillo and Esteban Campuzano.

She has won music competitions in Cuba and Germany, playing guitar and piano. She was also given a Scholarship by Koblenz International Festival and Academy (Germany) to study with Maestro Hubert Käppel. Since that moment She started to think about combining health with music, that's why she has been studying the Neuropsychological response of patients through music.

She has performed a great number of concerts in Cuba, Germany, and United States (Portland, Madison, Seattle). She performed as a guitarist, pianist, and solo singer or in choirs.

Her experience as a guitar, piano, and music teacher is for more than 10 years. Isabel loves to teach the smallest ones , because she finds them as diamonds that need developments.

Isabel has a nursing degree in addition to her music degree. She works with a lot of patients and includes music in the treatment of patients that suffered from dementia, autism and other neurological diseases or disorders. When Isabel incorporates music, they respond better to the treatment.

Her love and passion is use the music for healing. Isabel implements and creates her own method of study music, were the most important thing is to feel it as a resource of a healing process, developing new coordination skills between neurons and feeding the body and spirit.

We think that the main purpose of taking music Lessons is to have fun. Studying music can be a challenging and daunting experience. We strive to make our Lessons as relaxed and enjoyable as possible. Our lessons are design to meet your goals while helping you set up a great foundation of basic knowledge and techniques.

Our History

Isabel and Edel meet together by internet, living thousands of miles apart. Now, they have their own history, a family, music, dreams together and a lot of experience and fun to share with everyone that dicieded to make the music part of their spirit.
